The Problem

Coronavirus has done huge damage to the U.K.garden industry. Around 2000 garden centres and nurseries were forced to close at the end of March, and hundreds of businesses have been badly affected. 

Even though some garden centres are selling online, demand is outstripping capacity to deliver at what is normally the busiest time of year. 

This means many orders to growers have been cancelled, leaving a huge number of high-quality plants sitting in greenhouses and destined for the bin. The total stock write-off could amount to £200 million, unless we stop that from happening.
